Academician Roin Metreveli – 80

Prominent public figure, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, Academician Roin Metreveli turned 80 on December 7, 2019. On this occasion a solemn meeting was held on December 6 at the St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia. The event was attended by broad scholarly community, public figures, academy members, prominent representatives of the society. The presentation of Roin Metreveli’s book “Remembering the Past” took place. The book highlights important moments of his life and work.
