Academician Nodar Kipshidze – 95

On 11 December 2019, a jubilee session dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Academician Nodar Kipshidze was held at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. The session was opened by the President of the Academy, Academician Giorgi Kvesitadze. Academician Nodar Kipshidze was a prominent physician and researcher, educator for many generations. He was one of the founders of the therapeutic and cardiological schools of Georgia and was included in the Oxford edition of 500 Great Minds in 2002. At his initiative a Research Institute of Experimental and Clinical Therapy was established in Georgia.
