On January 23, 2023, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Atat\u00fcrk University (Erzurum, T\u00fcrkiye) and the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia took place in the Academy. The memorandum was signed by the rector of Atat\u00fcrk University \u00d6mer \u00c7homakli and the President of the Academy, academician Giorgi Kvesitadze. The parties agreed to establish cooperative relations between the two institutions through mutual cooperation in the spheres of education and research. The main purpose of the memorandum is to promote joint educational, cultural and scientific activities, participation in seminars and scientific meetings, exchange of educational materials, publications and other information, as well as the implementation of special short-term academic programs.
