The 50th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Centre for Radiobiology, Radiation Physiology and Ecology in Georgia 2 FEBRUARY, 2017
Jubilee event dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Centre for Radiobiology, Radiation Physiology and Ecology (1967-2017) was celebrated jointly by the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Department of Physiology and Medicine, I.Beritashvili Physiological Society, I.Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine and I.Tarkhan-Mouravi Association of Radiobiology and Radiation Protection. The event coincided with memorial of the founder of the Centre, prominent scientist, academician Kiazo Nadareishvili.
President of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, academician G.Kvesitadze delivered a welcome speech.
Kiazo Nadareishvili’s unique contribution to the development of radiobiology, radiation physiology and ecology in Georgia was underlined.
