The World Science Day

In connection with the World Science Day for Peace and Development, founded by UNESCO in 2001, which is celebrated annually on November 10, the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia awarded 31 successful scientists working in various fields of science with honorary diplomas. The outstanding scientists were welcomed by the President of the Academy Giorgi Kvesitadze, Vice-President Roin Metreveli, Academician-Secretary Ramaz Khurodze and members of the Presidium of the Academy.
