On May 5, 2023, the General Assembly of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia elected the following foreign members of the Academy:

  1. German scientist, archaeologist, professor Hermann Partzinger in the field of archaeology
  2. American scientist, Professor Bilal M. Ayyub in the field of engineering
  3. Tel Aviv University Geophysics Department Professor Lev Eppelbaum in the field of geophysics
  4. Professor Yuanda Song of Shandong University of Technology in the field of biochemistry
