The Commission for the Study of Scientific Problems of Natural Disasters of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences are pleased to invite you to the 7th International Congress on Engineering and Life Sciences (ICELIS 2026).
The primary objective of the congress is to bring together leading scientists, researchers, academic representatives, and industry professionals from various countries to share their experiences, present the latest scientific achievements, and discuss innovative technologies in the fields of engineering and life sciences. The congress will serve as an excellent platform for fostering international collaboration, establishing professional networks, and initiating future joint research projects.
Organizational Format and Key Features of the Congress:
- Venue: The Georgian National Academy of Sciences (Address: 52 Shota Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi, Georgia).
- Working Format: Hybrid model. Congress participants are offered the opportunity to choose between in-person attendance (poster or oral presentations delivered directly in the halls of the Academy) and a remote/virtual engagement format, facilitating broad participation of scientists from all corners of the globe.
- Language Policy: The primary organizational and documentary language of the congress is English. To ensure indexing in international scientific databases, submitted abstracts, full texts, and posters must be prepared exclusively in English. The oral presentations themselves may be delivered by the authors in English, Georgian, or Turkish, which significantly broadens the scope of academic discussion.

The Organizing Committee is deeply honored to announce that the scientific program of the congress will feature a public keynote lecture by Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Prof. Dr. Geoff Levermore from the University of Manchester, UK
This public lecture and discussion, led by the world-class scientist, will address one of the most critical global challenges of our time, titled: “Climate Change, Net Zero, Technology and Ethics.” This interactive format offers participants a unique opportunity to engage in live academic debates and establish direct professional communication with a leading pioneer in the field.

For citizens of Georgia, a differentiated registration fee system is in place, which varies based on the participant’s status and the registration period. The registration fee rates are set in Euros (€) according to the following schedule:

Publication of Scientific Papers All papers submitted to the congress will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by the international scientific committee.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in the electronic Book of Abstracts (E-Book of Abstracts).
- Approved full-text scientific articles will be published in relevant international peer-reviewed periodicals and scientific journals, including publications indexed in Scopus, Woos (Web of Science), and UGC.
