Meeting of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Georgian Academy of Criminology

On 7 October, 2021, a meeting of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Georgian Academy of Criminology was held at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences which was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Center for Crime Research and Forecasting. The meeting was opened by Honorary Academician of the Georgian Academy of Criminology, President of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Academician Giorgi Kvesitadze. The meeting was chaired by the President of the Georgian Academy of Criminology, Professor Malkhaz Badzagua.

At the meeting, Professor Malkhaz Badzagua introduced the newly elected members of the Academy: Dr. Tedo Japaridze and Dr. Giorgi Khatidze, as well as proposals for events related to the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the Center for Crime Research and Forecasting, publishing a brochure reflecting the activities of the Center and a special issue of the journal “Criminology”.

Member of the Academy, Dr. Tamar Chikviladze informed the Council about the changes made in the charter of the Georgian Academy of Criminology.
