Standing in Solidarity with Ukraine

Immediately after the start of the war in Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia expressed sympathy and solidarity with the scientific community in Ukraine, all the individuals suffering the horrors of war. The Academy has contacts with its Ukrainian colleagues on a regular basis. The President of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, Academician Giorgi Kvesitadze, maintains direct relations with the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (frequent contacts with the Vice-President, Academician Sergei Komisarenko). The Academy is willing to support Ukrainian researchers as much as it can (to provide research space/accommodation).
