Visit of the Director of the American Society of Criminology

On June 20, 2022, the director of the American Society of Criminology Chris Eskridge visited the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia. The meeting was hosted by the President of the Academy, Academician Giorgi Kvesitadze. The meeting was attended by Academician Mindia Ugrekhelidze, Rector of Grigol Robakidze University Mamuka Tavkhelidze, President of the Academy of Criminological Sciences Malkhaz Badzagua, PhD in Law Mikhail Badzagua. Giorgi Kvesitadze briefed Chris Esridge on the history of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. On June 23, a round table on the role of criminology in a globalized world took place at the Academy, where Professor Chris Esridge delivered a report. Researchers and practitioners interested in criminology took part in the round table discussion.
