Visit of a Ukrainian Scientist to the Academy

A well-known Ukrainian scientist, biochemist and diplomat, Academician-Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, director of the Palladin Institute of Biochemistry Sergey Komisarenko paid a working visit to the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia. Academicians Roin Metreveli, Tinatin Sadunishvili, Ramaz Shengelia, Tamaz Shilakadze, Omar Gogiashvili, Mikheil Jibuti and Professor Malkhaz Badzaghua attended the meeting, which took place in the office of the president of the Academy, Academician Giorgi Kvesitadze. At the meeting, the discussion touched upon the topical issues of science, in particular, the field of scientific mutual cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia. Future prospects and cooperation plans were drawn up.
