MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING with ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY

On January 23, 2023, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Atatürk University (Erzurum, Türkiye) and the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia took place in the Academy. The memorandum was signed by the rector of Atatürk University Ömer Çhomakli and the President of the Academy, academician Giorgi Kvesitadze. The parties agreed to establish cooperative relations between the two institutions through mutual cooperation in the spheres of education and research. The main purpose of the memorandum is to promote joint educational, cultural and scientific activities, participation in seminars and scientific meetings, exchange of educational materials, publications and other information, as well as the implementation of special short-term academic programs. The ceremony was attended by Vice-President, academician Roin Metreveli, academicians – Ramaz Khetsuriani, Tamaz Shilakadze, Tinatin Sadunishvili and President of the Academy of Criminology Malkhaz Badzagua.
