Electromagnetism, Blood Flow and Coagulation
- March 13, 2023
On March 10, 2023, the meeting of the presidium was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, where the scientific director of the Department of Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Todua Clinic, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Merab Beraya delivered a report – “Electromagnetism, blood flow and coagulation”. It was noted that there are many unexplained facts in the theory of hemodynamics. – The amount of work required to move blood into the systemic circulation exceeds the work performed by the left ventricle. – The resistance to blood flow changes dynamically according to the rhythm of the electrocardiogram and is reflected by the Womersley number. – Rhythmic transformation of viscoelasticity is also expressed in coagulation. There must be a relationship between the ECG and transient resistance to blood flow. The influence of the electromagnetic field on blood clotting has been studied.
