IV International Scientific Conference

On May 23, 2023, the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, the Academy of Criminological Sciences of Georgia, the Scientific-Research Institute of Law and Criminology at the Grigol Robakidze University, the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Technical University of Georgia held the fourth international scientific conference: “Urgent issues of crime prevention”. A total of 32 scholars of different backgrounds and generations from ten universities, including representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, the National Agency for Crime Prevention, Non-custodial Sentences and Probation, made their presentations. Conference participants received certificates.
The highest order of the university “For merits in the field of education” was awarded to: Mamuka Tavkhelidze – the rector of the Grigol Robakidze University, academician of the Academy of Criminological Sciences of Georgia, president of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, honorary academician of the Academy of Criminological Sciences Sciences of Georgia, Honorary Professor of the Grigol Robakidze University, academician Giorgi Kvesitadze and Executive Director of the American Society of Criminology, Honorary Academician of the Academy of Criminological Sciences of Georgia, Honorary Professor of the Grigol Robakidze University, Professor of the University of Nebraska Chris Eskridge (USA).
