Statement

On June 7, 2023, a general meeting of the Academy was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, at which a number of organizational and at the same time issues of the election of the Academy’s president were discussed. Roin Metreveli, an outstanding scholar, historian, prominent public figure, unparalleled organizer in the field of education and science, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, was elected as the president of the Academy by the majority of votes at the general meeting.
