International Conference

On September 15-18, 2023, with the financial support of the “Participation Program”, an international conference: “Risk Assess of Vulnerable Infrastructure Using the Critical State and Portfolio Risk Analysis (CAPRA) Model” was held under the leadership of Academician Givi Gavardashvili, Chairman of the Commission for the Study Scientific Problems of Natural Disasters at the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, the Organization of UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) with consultative status, the Ecocenter of Environmental Protection of the Grant Project “Forecasting Natural Disasters and Innovative Risk Reduction Measures” ( within the framework of Agreement # 4 /2240116105/pp 2022-2023). In order to raise public awareness among the local community, reference materials on disaster hazards and their management were released in 8 books with financing from the Georgian National Commission for UNESCO.
