Presentation of Academician David Muskhelishvili’s New Publications

The National Academy of Sciences of Georgia and the Institute of History and Ethnology of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University organized the presentation of academician DavidMuskhelishvili’s new publications: “Historical Geography of Georgia” and “Atlas of the History of Georgia” (in Georgian and English; translator Lado Mirianashvili). Both books were published by “Artanuji” publishing house. The “Historical Geography of Georgia” surveys the development path of feudal Georgia from ancient times to the 10th century and the processes of social evolution. As for the “Atlas of the History of Georgia,” it includes maps created as a result of a historical and geographical study of Georgia’s territory. Notably, the presentation of the mentioned publications coincided with the 95th anniversary of academician David Muskhelishvili.
