Announcement – 4th International Kartvelological Congress

We are honored to invite You to the 4th International Kartvelological Congress, which will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia on September 25-27, 2024.

The Congress will work in several key areas:

Structure and history of Georgian and Caucasian languages; descriptive, comparative and typological studies;
History and source studies; Historical geography and demography;
Research and archeology of Georgian-Caucasian antiquities;
Ethnology; Culturology; History of culture;
Art Studies and Art History;
Literary studies and History of Literature;
Georgia from the period of restoration of independence to the present day.

It is possible to participate in the work of the congress in online format (conditions will be announced later).

Abstracts of papers in Georgian and English languages will be accepted until April 15, 2024, subject to the following conditions:

Georgian and English texts of abstracts (together) should not exceed 2 pages of A4 format; 2. The material is to be received in electronically;
The text should be typed in A4 format, the font for the English text – Times New Roman, for Georgian – Sylfaen. Font size – 12, spacing – 1.15, lower and upper areas – 20 mm, from the left – 30 mm, from the right – 10 mm.
