New Monograph of academician Tamaz Shilakadze

The work “Criminology in Road and Transport Communications” was published in the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia by Tamaz Shilakadze, an Academician of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences which is a novelty in studying and discussing criminological issues of the road and transport communications.

The author presented to the reader in Georgian and English the state and problems of the development of global road transport systems in the 21st century, the state of crime and offenses in road transport systems, the conditions and reasons contributing to this, as well as theoretical and practical measures that need to be implemented for criminological prevention of crime.

The present paper is important because the conclusions obtained from the research will help relevant state and public organizations and higher educational institutions in the formation of a new direction in the special part of criminology related to road and transport communications, given the current situation in Georgia.
