The Visit of Delegation of Chinese Scientists to the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia

On 17th of September, 2024 the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia played host to the visit of acquaintance of the representatives of the Institute of Russian, Central Asian, Eastern European Studies at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
The meeting was led by the Academician-Secretary at the National Academy Academician Vladimir Papava.
Chinese delegation was led by the Director of the Department of International and Regional Co-operation, Senior Researcher Mr. Li Oingui. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director of International and Regional Co-operation, Senior Researcher Go Siaotsiun; the Researchers of the same Department Niu Ichen and Lin In, the Head of the Department of the Asian and Pacific Policy Researches at the Institute of Global Studies Dun Sianzhun.
The Delegation pursued following goals – to clarify the economic development of Georgia and the Caucasus; the issues of Chinese-Georgian economic relations and Georgia’s integration into EU were considered as well.
