Through the joint organizing of the National Committee of Historians of Georgia and Ekvtime Takaishvili  Society of History on 15th of April, 2024 at the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia the Session was held, dealt with the studying of documents on the history of Georgia and the history of Georgian culture, preserved in the European and American archives. The presentation –“The Documents of the Archives of Poland on Georgia and Georgians(1919-1939) was delivered by the Doctor of historical Sciences Mikheil Bakhtacze. As he mentioned , there are a lot of very interesting documents in the Archive of Modern History and the Central Military Archive of Poland. These documents deal with history of Georgia( the Democratic Republic of Georgia(1918-1921) and Georgian SSR) and also with the Georgian officers being in Poland during that time. A certain amount of documents which deal with Georgian officers are already published, but the majority still needs studying.
