Intersectoral Scientific-Consultative Board Session

On 19th of March 2025 at the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia took place the Session of the Intersectoral Scientific-Consultative Board which deals with the inclusion of Georgian scientific diaspora into the process of scientific and technological development of Georgia. The introductory speech was made by the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia and the Chairman of the abovementioned Board Academician Roin Metreveli. Then the floor was given to Mr. Zurab Jibladze, the Director of the Academic Register, Doctor of sociology, the Executive Secretary of the Consultative Board. While session the project of the Regulations was considered, which was passed unilaterally. The project of the concept of the involvement into the Georgian scientific space of our compatriot-scientists who live abroad was considered as well. While session Mr. Zurab Jibladze also presented web-portal of information base of our compatriot-scientists living abroad. The web-portal is created on the base of Georgian Technical University(Rector Academician Davit Gurgenidze). The results of the meeting were summed up by Academician Roin Metreveli. The meeting was attended by the top-grade persons from various ministries and representatives of academic field.
