The Delivery of Unique Archive Materials to the Central Archive of Georgia

On 18th of March 2025 through the initiative of the former Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to Italy Mr. Beglar Tavartkiladze the unique archive materials o 1918-1921 were handed over to the National Archive of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. This is Georgian-Italian diplomatic correspondence. In his speech Mr. Tavartkiladze stressed that in this patriotic and honorable activity he was helped by Academician Valery Asatiani and journalist, publicist Paata Natsvlishvili. Exactly Paata Natsvlishvili contributed enormously to the delivery of this archive to Georgia. It must be mentioned that archive is rather vast, it consist of more than 400 documents on five languages: Georgian, Russian, Italian, French and English. As the Head of the National Archive at the Ministry of Justice Mrs. Teona Iahvili said, this very interesting fund will be accessible to any researcher and person who is interested in this it.
