Presentation of the Book by Doctor of Political Sciences, Mr. Zurab Abashidze

The book  “The Sources of Russia’s Behavior(1992-2021)“”  by the Editor in Chief of the Georgian Encyclopedia, Doctor of Political Sciences, Mr. Zurab Abashidze was presented. The book echoes the article by well known American diplomat George Kennan which was published in 1947 and contributed a lot of to making US strategy towards the USSR during the “Cold War.” The book considers those main factors and phenomena, which predetermined the swing of Russia’s foreign policy from rather tight co-operation to the total confrontation during 1992-2021 or since the disintegration of the Soviet Union till the start of Russia-Ukraine war.
