Visit of the President of the Asian Academy of Sciences

On December 11-13, 2025, the President of the Asian Academy of Sciences, the highest category national talent of China, academician, doctor of geophysics, professor, laureate of the “West Lake Friendship Award”, holder of the highest state award of the Zhejiang Province of China (for foreign members) Elchin Khalilov, visited Tbilisi. On December 11, he met with the President of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Academician Roin Metreveli.
On December 12, a memorandum on bilateral cooperation was signed between the Georgian National Academy of Sciences and the Asian National Academy of Sciences.
