Meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for the Protection and Rational Use of Natural Resources

On 18 December 2019, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for the protection and rational use of natural resources which considered organizational issues and a work plan for next year was held at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.

In the reporting period, the Commission continued its planned work. Much attention was paid to the issues of soil erosion; planting of eucalyptus culture in Western Georgia; air pollution in Tbilisi; and some problems of plant protection. A new work plan for 2020 has been outlined.
