Scientific Workshop at the Department of Mathematics and Physics

On 20 December of this year, a scientific workshop was conducted by the Department of Mathematics and Physics at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. The report “Turbulence and magnetic fields – from the early universe to late-type stars” was delivered by Axel Brandenburg (International Center for Theoretical Physics “NORDITA”,  elected foreign member of the Swedish Academy of Sciences). In his report, Professor A. Brandenburg discussed the possibility of tracking high-frequency magnetic fields in the early Universe by analyzing the spectral and polarization properties of stochastic background radiation.
