Biography

Major emphasis has been agro, bio, nano and information technologies in Agrarian sector. As the researcher scientists worked in Russia, Egypt, Greece, Israel, Australia, Germany, Syria, as well as invited professor in University of Mashonmadiarovar (Hungary), University of Osaka (Japan), University of Georgia and Maryland (USA), University of Ludong and Shandun (China). Participated in 23 International granted Scientific and Industrial-commercial projects. Supervisor of 36 Doctors and Candidates of Sciences.

Over 300 publications in 30+ countries, as well as 6 monographs, 18 textbooks (3 in cooperation), 8 instructions, 2 patents, six language agrarian Dictionary and glossary, author of 15 inventions (10 in cooperation), 5 new adapted laws of Georgia and 3 National Agricultural Development Strategy and Conception of Georgia.

Awarded by Golden medal of secondary school, Silver medal of Leader in Food Industry of USSR, Golden Medal of Confucius from UNESCO, Order of Honor of Georgia, Medal of HACCP of Malaysia, “Engineer of Year” of Georgia, Dekabrelevich Honorary.
