Meeting of the Center for Innovation and High Technology

On February 24, 2023, the Center for Innovation and High Technologies heard a report “Computational Mathematics – Problems and Prospects” delivered by the director of the Muskhelishvili Institute of Computational Mathematics at the Technical University of Georgia, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Professor Vakhtang Kvaratskhelia. The tasks and prospects of the Institute of Computational Mathematics were discussed, taking into account most important issues facing the country, which can be solved by the scientific team of the Institute on the basis of knowledge and experience accumulated over the years. These issues include: the study of economic processes (including the financial market) and the analysis of optimization problems for these processes; analysis of the possible development of events for natural or technological disasters; construction and research of mathematical and computer models of ecological processes; analysis of medical and demographic problems using mathematical and computer modeling, etc.
