2023 ZGC Forum – Open Cooperation for a Common Future

On May 25-30, 2023, the Beijing Zhongguancun Technology Park, known as China’s Silicon Valley, hosted a forum – 2023 ZGC FORUM – Open Cooperation for a Common Future. The forum is a state platform for global technological exchange and cooperation. The forum was dedicated to topical issues of science and technology, such as digital economy, artificial intelligence, life and health, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and ecology. The delegation of Georgia was invited to the forum with financing from the Chinese side. The delegation was received by the organizers of the forum, representatives of the governments of China and Beijing, and the mayor of Beijing. The main plenary speaker at the session “Overseas Chinese Innovation & Development Forum” was the president of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, Academician Giorgi Kvesitadze – “Global ecological biological concept”.

Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, Tinatin Sadunishvili, was a panel speaker at the forum – “Bacterial diseases of plants and bacterial viruses for their ecological control”. The Georgian delegation participated in several meetings where the issues of cooperation between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Georgian Academy of Sciences were discussed at the meeting. The China Center of the Georgian Academy of Sciences has been opened.
