Scientific seminar: Modern directions of artificial intelligence in the research of complex events and processes

On October 24, 2023, the seminar devoted to the issues of artificial intelligence was held at the Academy. The reports were delivered by academician of the Polish Academy of Sciences Janusz Kacprzyk and head of the Chair of Applied Informatics, professor of the TSU Gia Sirbiladze. A brief survey of the main past developments of AI starting with its founding in 1956 including the most famous AI researches and engineering until the beginning of the 2000s was presented. Some perspectives of AI, both in terms of science, technology and applications and also in terms of mitigating those Ai skill/talent gaps were discussed.
