Georgia is a candidate country for EU membership

The National Academy of Sciences of Georgia and its president, Academician Roin Metreveli, congratulate our country, the Georgian people, the government, on receiving the candidate status, which brings Georgia even closer to full membership of the European Union!

All this was achieved as a result of great efforts of our government. Georgia has always been a country of European aspirations and this is a recognition of its progress, its culture and traditions.
