The 100th anniversary of A. Surguladze

An extraordinary session dedicated to the 100th anniversary of A. Surguladze, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, Doctor of History, Professor, state prize laureate was held at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with the participation of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences and the Georgian Historical Society “Ekvtime Takaishvili”.
The session was opened by the rector of TSU, academician Jaba Samushia, then among the speakers were: President of the Academy, academician Roin Metreveli, professors: Otar Janelidze, Dimitri Shvelidze, Otar Zhordania, Nino Chikovani, Natela Vachnadze, academician David Darchiashvili. Academician Omar Gogiashvili and Akaki Surguladze’s son Paata Surguladze.
