Meeting of the Center for Innovation and High Technologies

On December 6 of the current year, the Meeting heard a report from the senior researcher at the G. Chubinashvili  National Center of Georgian Art History, Professor of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts Maia Mania: “Study of the architecture of the main building of the Tbilisi Geophysical Observatory and the state of its preservation”. A unique building of the Tbilisi Geophysical Observatory was designed by the initiative of German astronomer Arnold Moritz in 1859-1862. It is one of the earliest scientific centers of Transcaucasia. Today, the building houses the Museum of Geophysical Sciences and the Institute of Hydrometeorology.
