Meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia

On 27 January 2020, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Ms. Nunu Mickiewicz, and other representatives of the Ministry visited the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia. During the meeting, the current state of science in the country and the prospects for its development were discussed. The issues related to the expertise of scientific reports of budgetary research institutions and universities were discussed. It was decided to consider research projects prior to their approval. One of the topics of the meeting was preparation for the 80th anniversary of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. There was expressed willingness and desire to hold such meetings periodically, once a month.
