Meeting of the Commission for Studying of National Issues

A regular meeting of the Commission for studying of national issues was held at the Presidium of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. The meeting was opened by the chair of the Commission, Academician Elizbar Javelidze. Doctor of History, Professor at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Sergo Dumbadze delivered a report on the theme “The Model of Georgian School”. The speaker informed the commission members on the content of the basic structure of the “The Model of Georgian School” developed by him. As he noted, after Georgia gained independence, difficulties arose in the system of school and higher education.  To overcome the difficult situation, reforms began. Reforms have begun to overcome the current difficult situation.
