Memorandum of Understanding

On 8 June 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the Academy of Sciences between the Center for Multifunctional Law Education and Expertise “House of Justice” and the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to involve the representatives of the scientific sphere in the process of ongoing educational and legal expertise of the House of Justice. Members of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences will participate in various educational and scientific events scheduled by the House of Justice, such as scientific conferences, public lectures for the students of the “Training Center” and others. Based on the Memorandum, the House of Justice attaches great importance to legal documents prepared with the assistance of experts from various fields of academic circles who can be represented in the status of a friend of the Court on important legal issues. As a matter of priority, the parties will cooperate with the Department of Social Sciences of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences; research articles will be published in the journal “Matsne” of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. The Memorandum comes into force from the moment it is signed by the “Parties” and is valid for 4 years.
The Memorandum was signed by the head of the House of Justice Eka Beselia, and on behalf of the Academy of Sciences – by the president, academician Giorgi Kvesitadze.
