The visit of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia

The meeting took place at the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia Mr. Doulatmirat Switmamedov and the Second Secretary at the Embsssy Mr. Atamurat Balibaev. The meeting was hosted by the President of the Academy Academician Roin Metreveli and Vice-President Ramaz Khurodze, Academician Vladir Papava etc. The Ambassador of Tukrmenistan Mr. Doulatmirat Switmamedov noticed, that in April+May, 2024, in Tbilisi, at Shota Rustaveli State theatre the Days of Turkmen culture in Georgia are to be held. This event will be dedicated to the 300th anniversary of birthday of well-known Turkmen poet Mastukkul Fragi. Within the frame of that event the scientific conference, concert and exhibition will be held. At the same time, in the city of Ashkhabad the solemn procedure of opening of Shota Rustaveli’s monument will take place. By the end of the meeting the perspectives and plans of mutual future co-operation were designed.
